Throughout the project, I was able to develop many skills and get a further understanding of the engineering design process.

Some of these skills/materials include:

• Effective application of the design process through planning out project details including the objectives, and constraints of the situation and creating a refined problem statement.

• Generate concept sketches for mechanism designs to lift the hopper from transfer to deposit position

• Creating engineering drawings for each part within the mechanism

• Perform interviews and meetings as a team to go over the progress and discuss any action items and improvements that need to be made for both modelling and computing.

• Use Autodesk Inventor to generate a solid model of a mechanism, by creating different parts and putting them together into an assembly
